8 mm (Overall Thickness): Refers to the total height of the plank, including the backing, core, and wear layer. An 8 mm plank is quite thick, generally providing better stability, comfort underfoot, and sound insulation
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is,
Yes, our reducer can accommodate a gentle arc as described. To facilitate the bend, cut the circles on the anchor leg to allow the trim to flex. When you cut the circles and form the arc, you’ll see an overlap – cut away the overlapping aluminum to allow the anchor leg to lay flush.
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is,The measurement from the anchor leg (horizontal portion of the trim that rests on the stair tread) to the bottom of the curved nosing is 1-5/8 inches.

We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is,Allure is a beautiful finish with interesting silver and gray tones. The TrimMaster 8mm 1 in. x 84 in. Satin Silver Aluminum Square Shape Floor Transition Strip, would be an excellent finish to help accent your floor.
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, The preferred application for concrete would be to use a urethane-based adhesive. The trim may also be applied with fasteners. On a concrete substrate you will need to drill a small hole and insert a wood peg in the hole to hold the screw.
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, This product is designed for floor transition use. I'm not sure I understand this question
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, the product is designed with a 1/4" lip. Most manufacturers of floating floors recommend a 1/4" perimeter gap around between the edge of the wall and floor to accommodate expansion and contraction.
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, The product is 74” long x 1”wide. The height of the profile opening is 8.2mm or 1/32
the product description when it comes to the width.
The description states that it's 1-7/8 inches wide
and the answer to the question states that its 1 inch wide. Which is correct?
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, The product is not designed specifically` to work in that situation. However as long as you are okay with the finish quality on the back it should be okay. I would make sure to adhere the trim to the floor with a general purpose adhesive or screws. Also make sure the bottom edge of the flooring fits in the opening. It would also be a good idea to run a small bead of adhesive along the edge of the trim to allow the floor
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, It can be applied with adhesive. Liquid nails will work but for best adhesion to concrete you should consider Urethane based product such as PL Premium 10 fl. oz. Polyurethane Construction Adhesive or a similar product. We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, Yes, it is possible to paint, although not recommended. Also keep in mind it will void the finish warranty. Anodized finishes are meant to last a long time and are weather resistant. IF you decide to paint it a different color, you should thoroughly clean the metal, use etching primer, sandpaper to smooth any bumps and consider using an oil based paint to achieve the best adhesion to the aluminum surface.
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, your carpet and attached pad is too thick it may be necessary to trim back a little of the pad. If using tack strip the tack strip should go in front of the trim
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, The trim may easily be secured to floor depending on substrate. If securing to a wood sub floor, you may use general purpose construction adhesive or screws as fasteners.
For fixed Application Installation: Use a #4 OR #6 flat or tapered head screw with a minimum length ¾”, Install the fasteners so the screw head is as flush with the anchor leg as possible. If installing on concrete substrates the use of anchors is recommended. Install wood or plastic anchors, per the manufacturer instructions, into subfloor where the screws will be used to secure the trim.
In addition to or in place of you may also use a heavy-duty general-purpose adhesive. For best adhesion and bond consider using a urethane-based adhesive. Follow adhesion manufacturer instructions and safety precautions. IMMEDIATELY REMOVE ANY EXCESS ADHESIVE FROM THE FACE OF THE PROFILE.
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, Yes the product can be tapped down with a rubber mallet. Best practice would include using a tapping block or cloth to reduce possibility of scuffing. Gently tap the product down until it meets surface of flooring.
We have reached out to the manufacturer and their answer is, all of the trims have at least a 1/4" lip to accommodate manufacturing specifications. If you are using the "floating" method. Make sure that the edge of the floor and top of the edge of the profile are touching. This is part of the designed tap down feature. It is a good idea to put a small amount of adhesive or silicone in the groove when the flooring goes fits in. This well help to secure the floor as it expands and contracts around the perimeter wall.
